TRIP summary

The Cape Town/Tankwa route is exquisite in it's own right.

We begin in Cape Town and disappear behind the slopes of Table Mountain followed by a morning ride through the Cape Winelands. We continue through Baviaanskloof to stay at Cederberge Oasis tented camp in the Cederberg Mountain Range. We head into the Tankwa Karoo National Park that takes us to Matjiesfontein Hotel.

The Lord Milner Hotel appears as if out of a conjurer’s hat - an authentic tribute to Victoriana. From there we head over the Seven Weeks Port and to Route 62, which will bring us to the “The Hell" that represents one of the most hidden-away valleys in South Africa.

We head over the Swartberg Pass which is considered one of the most impressive mountain passes in the world with steep zigzags, sudden switchbacks and breathtaking views at every turn. We will drive towards the ocean to Botlierskop to enjoy a Big 5 game drive to finish off this epic journey.
